Aerotour Korea

About Aerotour Korea

The beginning

Aerotour Korea was started by and independent flight instructor from the
United Kingdom in 2003. After moving to Korea the flight instructor wanted to
continue to fly in Korea and joined a Korean Sports Pilot School.

He was the first and is still the only Expat in Korea to have ever achieved a
sports pilot rating in Korea and flew and trained only Korean's at first. One
day while on a cross country flight he met a few Expat's who wanted to take
an experience flight class and so the word spread and Aerotour Korea was
formed soon afterwards.

Airport Closure

After the airport closure at Daejeon, AeroTour Korea changed base and
Airplane for some time to another airport and started to concentrate only on
flight tours and experience flights as this was an agreement with the airport
managers.

Move to Gimpo and General Aviation

General Aviation training has now been made possible. At present Aerotour
Korea is making the transition to General Aviation Aircraft and will be based
at Gimpo International.

Aerotour Korea is still maintained and run by the founder and Flight instructor
Mathew John Walker and is not related to or employed by any of the Korean
Flight Schools. Aerotour Korea was created for both Expats and Korean to
enjoy flying. We are a club that welcome people from all over the globe to fly
with us and share this great world.
